Enrolled in Google Data Analytics Course on Coursera
Today, I enrolled in the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate course on Coursera, and learned content for week 1.
The greatest difference between the Google course and other courses I studied is that Google course is taught by real data analysts working in Google who are working with real-world problems in their everyday job. I also like that I can see the tutor’s upper body rather than only faces, and see their body movement together with their facial expressions in the videos. The course incorporates different forms of learning, such as videos, readings, quizzes, logs, capstone projects, etc, which in my opinion is a big advantage over those tutorials that only offer videos, quizzes, and projects. The format is a more realistic reflection of what materials are like in the real world.
I am looking forward to the next week’s study and will keep posting my progress and reviews on the course contents here. I am also planning to draft a course study timetable next coming Monday. Cannot wait to get started!
